“I decided to do the 5 week breath immersion to help with my Eating Disorder but it ended up helping not only that but so much more. I was able to forgive people that have hurt me, and know that my ED stemmed from not feeling good enough. “To say this experience changed my life feels like an understatement.

That evening, I had gone to a dear friend’s wedding—alone for the first time in my adult life. I had always attended weddings with my ex-fiancé, and being there by myself stirred something deep. I watched the ceremony, but I couldn’t stay. I left early, overwhelmed, and drove straight to Seya’s co-regulation session feeling completely dysregulated and heartbroken.

I chose to volunteer, alongside another woman in the cohort I hadn’t really connected with before. With Seya’s guidance, I was slowly brought back into myself—layer by layer—until I felt safe enough to open. Safe enough to be seen.

What happened next was something I’ll never forget. After the session, we sat together in silence, holding eye contact, our nervous systems completely settled and open. There were no masks, no performance—just two humans seeing each other as we truly were in that moment. It created a bond between us that words don’t quite capture.

This experience changed how I move through the world. It made me question how often I’ve overridden my own nervous system—especially in moments involving touch, closeness, and connection. It gave me a deeper awareness of what true attunement feels like.
